Hello, we are Terry, Nicola and not forgetting our dog Buddie. We’re originally from Nottinghamshire in the UK and moved to Lower Austria in the Autumn of 2014. We wanted to pursue a new challenge in life and get back to what we’re really passionate about: spending time in the fresh air, really good food and drink, enjoying the simple things in life and sharing our experiences with new people.
Before we moved to Austria we were both office workers in the city, Terry being a Graphic Designer and Nicola as a Facilities Manager. In 2014 we took a road trip to see our friends in Slovenia and it was there we were inspired to pursue a new challenge in our lives and after driving through Austria we fell in love with the scenery, the culture and the people.
After returning a few times to the country we went on to purchase our house. We took the challenge to renovate everything ourselves and after 7 months of blood, sweet, tears and many cups of coffee we finally opened our doors in the Winter of 2015.
Since moving to the area we have been welcomed with a warm heart from the locals and our neighbours. We love our community here and we hope you will too.
